Florence Gune


Florence is a Public Health professional with over 11 years of experience in humanitarian and social services sectors. She graduated from the Clarke International University, Uganda Berkeley with Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Master of Science in Public Health, Rutgers University Newark with a master’s in Public Administration, and she is currently pursuing a PhD in Population Health Sciences at the Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. During her career, she held various positions including working with underserved communities in Uganda, South Sudan, and the United States.


In her free time, Florence volunteers as an adviser to Equal Aid Opportunity, a national non-profit organization in South Sudan serving incarcerated women and young adults, persons with disabilities, and orphaned children. She is also an active volunteer at One World One Love, a non-profit organization in New Jersey serving refugees and asylum seekers arriving in the U.S.


Florence lives in New Jersey with their lovely children Andzo, Ajugo, Andua, Bani and little Ms. Paya and husband Dr. Mindra. Florence loves spending time with their children watching them play travel soccer, basketball, and dance.
