MISSION STATEMENT
​
The Ma’di Community Association in the US (MACAUS) strives to promote sociocultural and economic progress for the Ma’di people living in the United States, South Sudan and elsewhere through education, voluntary participation, provision of opportunities and supportive environment for freedom of expression for all members, the encouragement of initiatives for diversity programs and interactive cooperation with other cultural entities pursuing comparable charitable objectives. MACAUS will endeavor to create initiatives for capacity building to support the implementation of development and charity projects. The Association will safeguard and promote the core values of the Ma’di people entailed in our cultural identity.

All members and leaders of MACAUS commit to thinking and acting with integrity – we will always be honest and do the right thing even when no one is watching. We will tell the truth in public and in private even when it is inconvenient to do so.

At MACAUS, we hold each other, our teams, our leaders and, ultimately, ourselves accountable for our actions:
